Renal Cancer Information Center
Each year in the United States, more than 54,000 people are diagnosed with renal cancer (kidney cancer). Thanks to advances in renal cancer treatment, however, individuals with renal cancer are living longer. It is estimated that there are more than 250,000 survivors of renal cancer living in the U.S. today.
Advances in surgery, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy have contributed to improved renal cancer survival. In addition, advances in supportive care have made renal cancer treatment more tolerable, leading to improved quality of life.
Understanding renal cancer treatment options, the role of different doctors specializing in the treatment of renal cancer, and how and when to access new and innovative renal cancer treatment options available through clinical trials is essential in order to achieve the best outcome from renal cancer treatment.
The Cancer Consultants Renal Cancer Information Center has been designed to help patients understand renal cancer and renal cancer treatment options while providing ongoing information, inspiration, support, and community to individuals affected by a diagnosis of renal cancer.
