• CC.com will provide the practice a customized web site which includes approximately 5000 pages of award-winning patient education material maintained by academic and community based leaders in the field that is updated daily and endorsed by over a dozen national patient advocacy foundations, the Oncology Nursing Society and Healthgate, a national provider of syndicated medical content.
• A listing of your practice will be included in the CancerInformationNetwork.com directory of cancer care providers to broaden online exposure for your site.
• CC.com will assist the practice in choosing and registering a domain name for the web site if you have not already done so.
• CC.com will host the web site providing 24/7 maintenance and support with e-mail capability based on the domain name chosen for the site.
• The program is designed to allow the practice to revise the practice unique content and graphics as often as desired and CC.com will publish those changes to the web site immediately, thus eliminating costly fees to your web site developer to make minor changes.
• Most importantly, this web site does not require a huge commitment of time and energy from you or your staff. This is a “turn-key” type of offer designed to provide the practice with an online presence with very little time required from you or your colleagues. CC.com provides the resources and the expertise to handle all aspects of building and then maintaining your customized web site. This site is designed as a marketable new resource for your patients and the community with which you can help brand your practice and establish your “expertise”. .
• This site does not require a viewer or patient to leave your site to view the resource most of them are looking for— detailed disease content . Our intent is to brand the practice and physicians, as the information/education “experts” by providing current & detailed info as an online resource for your patients and the community.
• We typically contract for these services through a non-binding annual Service Agreement that obligates CC.com to provide all of the services listed above and any additional “customized” features or options requested by the practice. We will be glad to suggest a platform that best suites your needs.
• We also provide optional services to take all photos, interview staff members and create professionally written copy about each practice to be used on their web site and additionally as the basis for a Practice Brochure and even a Patient Guide that provides the same information in a print format as seen on the web site. We will then maintain each of these resources for the practice to ensure the material is consistent, credible and current.
